About Me

Robert Berman  My name is Robert Berman. I'm a tour guide, an author and a writer, and occasionally I create stuff! There usually is not a great market for what I create but I do it anyway because I'm an impulsive person and I'm satisfied with the creation of things.

I'm a graduate of Harvard University (MPA), Baruch College (MBA), and Yeshiva University (BA). As a freelance journalist, I have been published in New York Magazine, the Harvard Review, the Los Angeles Times, the Tablet, Ha’aretz, the Jerusalem Post, the Jewish Week, Moment Magazine, the Times of Israel, and the Jerusalem Report. I am the author of What Happens if I Miss a Kaddish: The Origin, Development and Putative Efficacy of Mourner’s Kaddish and Min Taq Taq: A Collection of Arabic Idioms & Expressions – Palestinian Dialect.  I also created Globali: an educational tool to help people memorize world geography.
